Central Valley Alliance for Women and Justice

The Advocacy Coalition of Tulare County (ACT) for Women and Girls, and Planned Parenthood Mar Monte (PPMM), are delighted to announce that we are convened an alliance to address justice issues that are critical to Central Valley communities. With a generous grant from the Ms. Foundation, this project is made possible.

We are initiating the Central Valley Alliance for Women and Justice with a focus on sex education in our communities, and other reproductive justice issues.

Each of us understands the frustration of working in “silos,” often struggling to get our voices and those of our constituents heard among the more organized and allied groups in both the northern and southern areas of the state. Our goal with the Alliance is to break out of these silos by establishing a connectedness among like-minded activists and advocates working in the Valley.
