Thumbs up to all the supporters who attended ACT for Women and Girls breakfast event, "Getting the F* in Women's History — *Feminism" on March 6.
It was awesome to see new faces and continued supporters come together to celebrate Women's History Month.
All of the money raised will benefit the young women in the Female Leadership Academy to continue to raise their voices and advocate for women's issues in our community and state.
A special thank-you to Dr. Loretta Kensinger for her amazing lecture on "Women's Studies: A Vital Link in the History of Empowering Women." And for the Congregation B'nai David for hosting us at their facility.
